BillboardsIn is an online marketplace for outdoor advertising, built to help you find and book the right ad space quickly. We list over a million ad spaces nationwide, from billboards and transit ads to mobile billboard trucks, digital screens in places like gyms and restaurants, and streaming TV.

Why should I use BillboardsIn?

We think buying outdoor advertising should be accessible to everyone. That’s why we show pricing and availability on the spot and offer personalized help along the way. Tell us where you want to advertise, and we’ll quickly find options that fit your goals and budget.

$Pricing & Payment

How much does a billboard cost?

Billboard prices vary widely depending on location, format, size and timing, so there’s no single answer.

The fastest way to see real prices is to start a search for your city. You’ll get a map of available options with pricing for each. You can also email support@billboardsin.com and a team member will help you.

What does the listed price include?

The listed price includes the ad space plus the production costs to get your ad up and running: printing, shipping, installation and removal.

It does not include optional add-ons, such as design help or other additional services.

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes. Campaigns that run at least 12 weeks get a discount. When you view an option’s price on your map, you’ll see the discounted rate below the four-week rate.

What does CPM mean?

CPM stands for “cost per thousand” impressions. It’s the cost of reaching 1,000 views with a specific ad space.

CPM = (total cost ÷ total impressions) × 1,000.

CPM is useful for comparing ad spaces against each other, and for comparing outdoor advertising with other channels you may be considering.

How do I pay?

You can pay by credit card directly through our online checkout. We can also process payments by ACH; check with your bank first.

📅Planning Your Campaign

How long do I have to decide after creating my campaign?

Inventory can move fast, so we recommend deciding within a few business days. If you need more time, you can create a new campaign later to see updated availability, or email support@billboardsin.com to check on a specific ad space.

Can I run an ad for just a few days?

We can help with short campaigns. Most digital options can run for one week, and the minimum for static (printed) options is one month. To change your campaign length, contact your account manager or email support@billboardsin.com.

What is the ideal campaign length?

We recommend at least 12 weeks. That gives you enough time to judge how well your ad is working, and it qualifies for our multi-week discount.

Ultimately your campaign length should match your goals, whether that’s one month, two months or a full year. Not sure what’s right? Email support@billboardsin.com.

How do I know which way a billboard is facing?

Select the option you’re interested in, then look for “Direction” in the panel on the right. That’s the compass direction the board faces. For example, a board marked “East” faces east, so it’s seen by westbound traffic.

How do I choose the right option for my campaign?

Every campaign is different, but we recommend comparing location, price, CPM and estimated views for the options you’re considering. Want to talk it through? Contact your account manager or email support@billboardsin.com.

🎨Artwork & Ad Formats

I don’t have artwork. Where do I start?

Whether you want to design your ad yourself or would like some help, we’ve got you covered:

  • Design it yourself: download a template from our library of design templates for every outdoor ad format and size, then submit your finished ad.
  • Get feedback: choose “Artwork Review” at checkout and our design team will review your ad and suggest improvements.
  • Have us design it: choose “Custom Artwork Design” at checkout and our designers will create a new ad from scratch or refresh your existing marketing materials.

What’s the difference between digital and static billboards?

The difference is how your ad is displayed. On a static (non-digital) billboard, your ad is printed and installed on the board. On a digital billboard, your ad appears on an LED screen, typically for about eight seconds at a time as part of a 64-second loop with other advertisers.

Both formats are effective. Read more in Traditional vs. Digital Billboards: Choosing the Right Format.

How much exposure do I get on a digital billboard?

In most cases your ad runs for about eight seconds at a time as part of a larger loop. The impressions shown for each digital billboard in your campaign reflect the impressions you can expect from booking that ad space.
