This billboard creates a powerful image. Corona created these brilliant billboards for World Oceans Day to show how much plastic ends up in the ocean every hour. The advertisement is utilizing all of the space around the billboard and also giving this plastic a new use. This “wave of waste” is amazing and hard to miss!

Colorado State Patrol reminds drivers to leave room for trucks with this clever design. This crushed billboard shows you exactly what can happen if you do not heed its warning. The use of extra material to create the crash effect is eye-catching, different and gets people talking.

This creative billboard is part of Lego’s “Imagine” campaign. This advertisement turns a mundane street into a Lego world with monsters. The billboard is made completely from Legos.  Each piece measured around 1.2m x 1.8m and used a total of over 97,000 pieces. These advertisements hit their target market using the toy itself while creating a more colorful outlook on life!

BIC takes a different route with their billboard advertising. The board itself is just completely white, but they use the surroundings to advertise and show exactly how the product works. Every element of this advertisement is eye-catching and insanely creative!

This Nationwide campaign is dripping with creativity! This huge billboard takes using the area around a billboard to a whole new level. Covering cars and a parking lot with bright green paint is daring and innovative.

Panasonic’s billboard incorporates its surroundings in a hilarious way! The use of actual electric wires to create 3D nose hairs to contrast the illustration on the board. The electric wires also put an emphasis on the safety cutting system of the trimmer.

Apple’s “Shot on iPhone” advertisements showcase both amateur and professional photography around the globe. This campaign gets consumers involved in the advertising while showcasing what the product can achieve.

Kit Kat takes its iconic tagline very literally with this half of a billboard. Along with the creative billboard itself, the use of props really makes you question whether someone just stopped halfway through installing this advertisement.

For Spotify’s Wrapped campaign, they have chosen bright colors with messages that will make you laugh and reminisce on 2018. With references to popular songs, podcasts and pop culture from 2018, they are really targeting their desired consumer. This innovative use of data brings the consumer into the campaign!
