Our Favorite Billboards of 2022

2022 was an eventful year, full noteworthy pop culture moments and world events. But our personal favorite moments of 2022 were commemorated with a plethora of beautiful out of home advertising campaigns! We’re going to show you some of our favorite ads that made headlines, as well as feature a few of our own clients.

Ads That Made the News

One billboard ad that caught the attention of the media was the Man vs. Bee display that was constructed in Manchester, England. This elaborate OOH (out of home) ad was created to build excitement for the 2022 Netflix series starring Rowan Atkinson. The display involved constructing a series of tall poles with giant bees atop each one, all surrounding a giant poster with the series information.

Another unique advertisement that made the news was the “pickable” Kind Bar billboard. This ad, displayed in London England, featured a large leafy canvas filled with a variety of healthy snacks that passersby could take, including Kind Bars. The idea behind the campaign was to improve the health perception of nut-filled snacks among the British population.

Some of Our Client Favorites!

We take pride in having the coolest businesses utilize our ad services, and below we’re going to highlight some of our favorite ads from a few of them!

Music artist Surf Gang put up a series of boards in New York City to advertise for his album release “At Least We Tried.” In one of the spots, we utilized two boards that are located next to each other to create an extended canvas.

Popular YouTube creator, Ross Creations, also worked with us to put up several boards, featured in several of his videos. One of the ads features an extension on the top of his head, giving the appearance an exaggeratedly large forehead.

Another client we worked with was Folx Health, an LGBTQ+ advocacy group promoting trans rights in Florida and Texas. Their ads featured simple but bright and colorful designs with a clear message. They also made use of digital bulletins, an efficient and cost-effective billboard option!
