Mobile Retargeting

It can be tricky to decide how best to promote your business. Traditional and digital advertising both have strengths and flaws, so how do you combine them?

Look no further: mobile retargeting (also called “geofencing”) combines the benefits of out-of-home (OOH) advertising with mobile advertising, reaching potential customers on their phones when they enter or exit a location range you choose.

Two Types of Mobile Retargeting

Proximity-based

Targets mobile app users within specific areas, like around your storefront. When someone enters or exits the range, they receive your ad.

Audience-based

Targets app users with specific demographic traits within a geographic range, like a city, state, or zip codes.

Both types deliver ads across a network of over 100,000 mobile apps.

Use Location to Target Your Audience

Narrowing viewers to a specific location lets you create a highly customized ad. With proximity-based retargeting, you might draw a “geofence” around your storefront so nearby people see your ad as they come and go.

You can also target events or areas your potential customers frequent, then tailor your ad to them.

Take Advantage of a Wide Audience

With a network of over 100,000 apps, mobile users are extremely likely to see your ad. Apps include:

ABC News
The New York Times
iHeartRadio
ESPN
And many more
